ZGB v2021.2

Programmierer aufgepasst. ZGB ist eine Game Boy / Color engine mit etlichen Features. Wer also schon immer einmal etwas für den Game Boy programmieren wollte, schaut euch ZGB an.

  • Sprite vs Background has been rewritten and now supports offscreen collisions (repeating the last tile on column or row)
  • Fixed memory overflow when cleaning up SpriteManager
  • Added properties to metasprites (SPRITE_SET_PALETTE working again)
  • Improved VS intellisense
  • Makefile dependencies are now generated using SDCC, which is a bit faster

Leute, wer hatte nicht schon immer einmal Bock ein eigenes „Dizzy“-Spiel zu machen? Dann vielleicht noch für den Game Boy? untoxa hat hierfür eine Engine veröffentlicht und der Quellcode liegt auf GitHub! Auf gehts zu Dizzy and the Mushroom Pie (2020)

Their main character was a funny egg who wears red boxing gloves and red boots. Dizzy’s adventures started back in 1986, on ZX Spectrum, but kept it’s fans over the years. You can read more about the Dizzy series on Wikipedia.

For developing the engine I used the game „The Mushrooms Pie“ which is an example of the DizzyAGE engine.

DizzyAGE devtools contain the game engine, the map editor, a few tools and the default template with tiles, scrips and everything. It is developed by Alexandru and Cristina Simion.
